Founded by Robert E. and Justine Matthews as Matthews Buses, Inc., the company began as a distributor for Thomas Built Buses, earning a reputation for durability, safety, and standing behind every product delivered.
In 1992, Matthews expanded into specialty vehicle manufacturing. Our commitment to craftsmanship and reliability quickly set us apart, leading to exclusive partnerships and continued growth.
Today, under the leadership of Brad Matthews, we design and manufacture specialty vehicles from our headquarters in Greensboro, carrying forward the same principle that built this company:
